When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information transmitted by your browser in so-called server log files. This may include:

5. Interactive Conference Installation (MQTT Communication)

This website communicates with the interactive conference installation using an encrypted MQTT connection via WebSockets (WSS).

All communication is encrypted during transmission.

During participation in the installation, the following technical data may be processed:

• A freely chosen fictional character name
• Visual properties of the created character
• Technical work area identifier (numeric value)
• Time of transmission
• Technical connection data, such as IP addresses, processed by the server infrastructure for secure communication

Participants are asked to use a fictional character name. The transmitted information is used exclusively to display and operate the interactive installation during the conference.

• No user accounts are created.
• No personal profiles are generated.
• No automated decision-making takes place.
• No personal data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.

The transmitted data is processed only for the duration of the conference and is permanently deleted immediately after the event unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.

The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional online service).

6. Children's Privacy

The website and the interactive installation are intended for a general audience.

Participants should not enter personal information when creating a character. Instead, they are asked to use a fictional character name.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Rights of Data Subjects

Where the GDPR applies, you have the right to:

• Request information about your stored personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Request restriction of processing where legally applicable.
